In mostra fino al 12 giugno 2011, l'opera inedita del Guercino dal titolo, " Marte Furibondo Ritenuto da un Amorino "; questo grande quadro, siglato e documentato, è offerto allo studio e alla pubblica fruizione, nella sede che è apparsa la più idonea per esprimere le sue valenze espressive e concettuali, appunto il museo romano di Castel Sant'Angelo.

Cecchini: «Sono certo che l'urlo di quella Magna Grecia che risiede nel Dna siciliano partirà da Catania e raggiungerà l'intero paese»  

CATANIA - «Se provate a parlare sottovoce nel bel mezzo di una curva allo stadio, chi potrà sentirvi? Nessuno. La nostra società è formata da curve di stadio e i media hanno bisogno di notizie. Io gliele do». Parla così Graziano Cecchini , artista futurista che dello scandalo sembra aver fatto il suo linguaggio di vita. A chi gli ha chiesto di descriversi in poche parole ha risposto di essere «una persona normale con il desiderio di dimostrare che nell'arte conta la semplicità, senza sovrastrutture».

A raccontarlo sono le sue "azioni"più celebri: nel 2007 ha colorato di rosso l'acqua della Fontana di Trevi; l'anno dopo ha lanciato 500mila palline colorate lungo la scalinata di Trinità dei Monti; l'ultima "fatica" è stata la tentata irruzione nella "casa-non casa" del reality Grande Fratello durante la diretta televisiva.

Ma non finisce qui, perché Graziano Cecchini arriverà anche a Catania: presiederà infatti il comitato consultivo della Mostra internazionale d'arte moderna e contemporanea " SiciliArte 2011 " , curata dal critico Francesco Gallo , che sarà allestita dal 23 al 27 marzo all'interno di Etnaexpo , at the mall Etnapolis of Belper.

Roots of the World " .

The double exhibition, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Rome, is the brainchild of Lorenzo Zichichi, Evelina Schatz and Olga Road within the project of cultural relations Russia-Italy 2011, and is sponsored by the Society of Pius Piceni e da Il Cigno GG Edizioni.

La Mostra "L'Accademia Russa di Belle Arti" a cura di Elena Tsereteli e Ljubov Evdokimova, proviene dal Petit Palais di Parigi e svela al pubblico tre secoli di legami culturali tra la Russia e l'Italia, sottolineando il ruolo straordinario ed essenziale della cultura italiana per la Russia artistica. È una mostra che ripercorre la storia dell'Accademia, illustrando con fotografie, disegni e ricostruzioni l'architettura, le arti figurative and science in the development of Italian art and culture of the school of fine arts in Russia, since the founding of the Academy of Fine Arts, commissioned by Catherine the Great onwards.

Quenched from the cultural Albisola, home of the ceramic art, Fabio Mordeglia uses language material, which specchio visivo su cui riflettono i significati ancestrali in una poetica dell'universo in grado di rivelarsi per soliloqui dialettici e contrapposizioni tonali.
La ricerca pittorica di Fabio Mordeglia è scandita da novità stilistico-formali e da rinnovati segni d'interpretazione. Nell'ovazione della sintesi si coglie il senso atavico della materia, in particolare della terra, accostata alla pittura ad acrilico.
Nelle opere di Mordeglia le corrispondenze cromatiche generano un campo di relazioni, dove i colori acquisiscono un senso simbolico, non più meramente estetico. In quest'ottica la comparazione tra il rosso e il nero si manifesta nell'emblema del contrasto interiore, prestandosi ad una lettura iconologica.
Seppure il cromatismo impiegato appaia vivace e dirompente nel suo dinamismo visivo, la pittura di Fabio Mordeglia si sofferma sul dramma dell'esistenza.

'Night is the space that, like a Proustian novel, you will find the il tempo perduto e il ricordo, la rievocazione malinconica del passato. Notturno è il silenzio che da voce ad una riflessione (lucida ma allo stesso tempo amara), sulla nostra esistenza, sulla nostra storia. Notturne sono le forme che tentiamo di intrappolare nella tela, e che pure fuggono, o le scritte sbiadite che tentiamo di decifrare, alla ricerca di un significato che, quello sì, davvero, ci sfugge. Notturne sono le cicatrici che appena si intravedono e che non sappiamo decidere se siano la prova della nostra guarigione, della nostra capacità di rigenerarci o piuttosto costituiscano il pretesto per rifugiarci nella nebulosità del ricordo di un dolore.'

And 'the pictorial language of Zdanski night to be veiled. Most of the work that the artist confides softly all his torment, and it shares the same memory space is intimate and ambiguous. Zdanski Clarice was born in Bellaire, Ohio (USA). He studied painting and graphic techniques of printing (BFA) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Art History (MA and PhD) at the University of Chicago. He currently lives in Milan. From February 15 Gallery The Village of Milan inaugurates a new display with the staff of Antonio Acerbi entitled "Something of my youth" which will be staged between 15 and 22 February 2011.
graphic designer from Pisa, Antonio Acerbi graduated from the Istituto Superiore di Andrea Palladio Design of Verona, after which he attended a master's degree in Web Design at the School Politecnica di Design di Milano. Tra le sue esposizioni ricordiamo la sua presenza alla Galleria Mentana di Firenze e la sua personale al Palazzo D'Auria Secondo di Lucera.
Con il termine "Wormanart" l'autore vuole indicare l'arte dell'uomo verme, analizzando il rapporto tra l'essere umano e l'immagine digitale. Tempi ed immagini si alternano in maniera tangibile nelle sue opere, sfoderando un repertorio di memorie visive in un suggestivo scenario kafkiano.
L'indagine artistica di Antonio Acerbi si sofferma in profondità sulla ricerca dell'identità sociale e talvolta l'autore stesso è sottoposto ad uno sdoppiamento carico di significati intrinseci.
Dietro le sue fotografie rielaborate e stampate successivamente su tela si cela una personalità tormentata, che affiora sulla superficie della vita in un incessante confronto tra realtà e utopia.
E' questo contrasto interiore, questo dissidio dell'inconscio, a rendere affascinante l'itinerario artistico di Antonio Acerbi, un autore dotato di un forte temperamento che sa guardare con audacia il presente e le problematiche che circondano la sua epoca.
Le sue tele sviscerano il disagio dei giovani nella società contemporanea, con le loro incertezze, i loro dubbi e le avversità del vivere quotidiano. Non è solo la lotta dell'uomo contro il mondo quanto piuttosto la battaglia quotidiana dell'uomo con se stesso.

Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 18:30, the Modern Library , Via Garibaldi 272, at Rieti inaugurates WEFT , art exhibition Contemporary, edited by Barbara Pavan, sponsored by Studio7.it.

I n displays the work of three artists who draw, in varying degrees, the ancient art of weaving and female, have been revised techniques, products and content in their search for artistic Cati Susan, Veronica and Debellis Eliana Frontini.

The works of Susanna Cati so materially different, are all part of the route de ' The thread of the soul' . A series of works that set out in this show by Veronica Debellis , made starting from the trousseau: towels, sheets, towels, cut, glued, sewn, re-assembled. Le opere di Eliana Frontini appartengono alla serie di ' Non sempre il paradiso può attendere' , fotografie di angeli cucite su pezzi strappati di vecchi lenzuoli. Il filo nero utilizzato è quello da sutura, atto a ricongiungere i lembi di una ferita. Gli angeli cuciti hanno una storia concettuale alfine positiva: dai drammatici ex voto di Rexurrexit, alle tele libere che scendevano dal soffitto in Isolina e le altre o di Alt, il corpo è mio , entrambe incentrate sulla violenza sulle donne, gli ultimi angeli della Frontini vengono liberati: il filo, infatti, è tagliato. Dai primi angeli, quindi, che riassumevano la ricerca artistica riguardante riflessioni sulla violenza e sulla memoria e sul fatto che esiste, viva e tangibile, una quarta dimensione dell'opera d'arte, concretizzata convenzionalmente nel tempo, abbiamo qui un proseguimento concettuale dove l'angelo, medicato, sta guarendo, indipendente e finalmente privo di costrizioni. Tutte le fotografie sono state completate e rese uniche dalla cucitura. Il fotografo scatta e ritrae la realtà. L'artista opera sulla realtà fotografata, trasformando le ombre e i desideri e guidando l'immagine verso il trascendente, to the unknowable.

Da sabato 26 febbraio 2011 l' Ex Convento di Santa Croce, Piazza del Convento 4, S.Anatolia di Narco (Pg) , ospiterà The exhibition IN FABULA, by Barbara Pavan, sponsored by Studio7.it.

The exhibition features the works of three illustrators: Enrica tingling, and Lucy Ricciardi Marinella rises.

's work Enrica tingling part by the story, the word, the tale, though paintings and drawings have various assumptions being made conditional on the illustration and text, somehow, a story of images. His paintings, however, always come from the echo of a story. Tingling gives them the magic that belongs to the children's books. The works in this exhibition are the result of 'contamination' with narration and images that draw on the memories of childhood reading, from 'Pinocchio' to 'Alice in Wonderland' to the lesser-known fairy tales.

The tables Lucia Ricciardi presented in the exhibition belong to the series of illustrations created for the book 'Fourth Front Left' Stefano Marcantoni. The originality of the narrative, the story of a beef burger that comes back, put the difficulty of the representation of time that runs counterclockwise. Leitmotif is therefore a sign painting that conveys dynamism and movement, sometimes not defined, which more than descrivere, suggerisce e che conferisce alle illustrazioni un'atmosfera di equilibrio precario. Segno, colore e costruzione dell'immagine, tutto concorre quindi a raccontare un rewind , che non è un vero e proprio riavvolgimento del nastro , perchè parallelamente e attraverso immagini a volte anche piuttosto crude c'è una progressiva presa di coscienza di una realtà spesso ignorata e che ogni giorno coinvolge ognuno di noi.  

Uno stile netto e coerente, chiaro e schietto nelle forme e nei personaggi e una spiccata capacità  descrittiva caratterizzano le opere di Marinella Sorge . L'artista rappresenta scene in cui i protagonisti sono personaggi, quasi sempre femminili, dall'aria dolce e malinconica ma che al contempo lasciano inequivocabilmente trasparire anche un lato oscuro. Prendendo spunto e ispirazione dall'immaginario iconografico delle fiabe e della letteratura, dalla corrente pop-surrealista degli anni '90, dalla passione per la cultura Rock'n'Roll dagli anni '60 ad oggi, Marinella Sorge crea immagini ricche di simbolismi, di delicatezza estrema e ugualmente di forte impatto, in cui malinconia, contrasto e sogno si fondono e si scontrano, metafore quanto mai realistiche di emozioni, paure e sentimenti che si agitano dentro di noi.

Un nuovo straordinario evento dedicato a Caravaggio , nella sua terra di origine, chiude le celebrazioni per il quarto centenario della morte del maestro lombardo.

 

Tutte le opere di Michelangelo Merisi (1571 – 1610) si possono ammirare nel loro folgorante splendore nella mostra Caravaggio. Una mostra impossibile staged in Palazzo della Ragione in Milan, from 10 November 2010 to March 13, 2011 . But not only. L'esposizione supera spazio e tempo e fa rivivere a distanza di secoli il pittore più moderno e rivoluzionario della storia, seguendo passo dopo passo le tappe dalla sua opera e della sua vita burrascosa.

 

Entrando in una vera e propria wunderkammer , i visitatori saranno infatti accolti da performer nei panni del grande maestro e verranno condotti nel suo mondo attraverso aneddoti di vita vissuta e racconti sulle opere, scanditi in tre fasi temporali: gli esordi, la maturità, il periodo precedente la prematura scomparsa.
